When you create inboxes with Mailpool, all DNS records are automatically configured. However, you may still encounter a DKIM selector key error even if everything is set up correctly. In that case, you’ll need to manually add the DKIM selector key to resolve the error.
Step-by-Step Guide
Mailpool Inbox
From the Mailpool dashboard, click on the “Domains” tab in the left menu.
Locate the domain whose DKIM record you want to view
Click the “Edit” icon next to the domain.
Locate the “DNS Records” tab and click on it.
Look for the DKIM entry. The selector key is the part of the record before
._domainkey.
Google Inbox
For Google inboxes, the selector key is
google.
You can now enter the DKIM selector key in your outreach tool. This should resolve the DKIM validation issue.
Important Note: Mailpool automatically configures all DNS records, but you may still see a DKIM selector key error. If this happens, manually add the DKIM selector key in your outreach tool to resolve it.
