Understand the status of your domains in Mailpool

Your domains in Mailpool can have different statuses depending on their state. Below is an explanation of these different statuses.


Active

  • The domain has been registered and is fully operational.

  • You can create mailboxes on this domain and send emails from it.

  • An active domain requires no specific actions.

Pending

  • The domain has been purchased, but the setup is in progress.

  • Mailpool is registering the domain and configuring the DNS setup, which may take a few minutes.

  • You cannot create mailboxes or send emails from a pending domain.

  • No action is required. Simply wait for the setup to complete.

Inactive

  • The domain is not registered, or its setup has failed.

  • You cannot create mailboxes or send emails from an inactive domain.

  • If any of your domains are marked as "Inactive", contact our support team via live chat, and we will assist you in resolving the issue.

Pro Tip: Regularly refresh the status of your domains to monitor their current state. To do so, click the “Refresh Status” button in your domain dashboard.
